1 Answer. SOURCE: how to change headlight bulb on ford mondeo. Very easy, 2 or 3 minutes. Remove radiator grille. 2 plastic fittings on top, quarter turn and lift out grille. Remove complete headlight. Simply lift out 2 L shape retaining pins. Disconnect lead. Ease out complete headlamp unit. Remove back of headlamp unit to access bulbs.
I just do not trust myself to properly adjust, and orientate, an LED bulb in our standard reflector housing headlights, on top of which, If you choose the wrong one, (among the many thousands available), it will be many times brighter right in front of the car, but not give you as much distance down the road, as a great halogen bulb.
Went to readjust them today and the screws are doing absolutely nothing to adjust the aim of the beam on the headlights. There doesn’t seem to be a horizontal adjustment and the verticals don’t do anything.
The replacement bulb for the headlight in you Focus is a 9003. There are several variations to this number though. For example GE/Sylvania has a 9003CB--CB standing for "Cool Blue", 9003XV--XV standing for Xtra Vision, etc. Hopefully you plan on replacing both bulbs when you go to do so.

Removing headlights on the car is a complete pain in the butt, first you have to remove the wheel arch linnings to get access to two Torx screws located on the top of the lip on the wing panels (2 scews each side) then you have the joy or completely removing the front bumper to get clear access to the headlight mounting screws.
